Installation & Requirements

The supplied Atosa manual specifies a 115V / 60Hz / 1-phase supply for the MCF8721ES and says the supply voltage should remain within ±6% of the unit’s rated voltage for proper operation. The product specification lists a NEMA 5-15P plug. The manual says a thermomagnetic circuit breaker, not supplied with the unit, must be installed between the mains supply point and the freezer’s power-supply cable. It states that this electrical connection must be carried out by professionally qualified persons.

Position the freezer in a cool, well-ventilated part of the room, away from heat sources and direct sunlight. Keep the ventilation openings in the appliance enclosure or built-in structure unobstructed. The supplied sources do not specify a numerical clearance requirement.

R290 is a flammable refrigerant. The manual warns against damaging the refrigerant circuit and identifies a risk of fire or explosion from flammable refrigerant. Operation

The supplied manual notes that a changed set value is stored even if the setting procedure is exited by waiting for the time-out.

The controller keyboard can be locked by holding the indicated keys for more than three seconds; the display shows “OF” when locked. To unlock it, hold the indicated keys together for more than three seconds until “on” appears.
