About the Atosa MSF8307
Overview
The Atosa MSF8307 is a 60-inch mega-top refrigerated sandwich prep table for foodservice operations that need chilled ingredients close to the preparation surface. It is listed as a two-door unit with 17.2 cu. ft. of refrigerated storage and capacity for 24 pans. The model is suited to sandwich, salad and deli preparation, as well as refrigerated storage and service of salads, fruits, vegetables and cold dishes.
The available operating and care instructions cover Atosa salad prep tables and list the MSF8307 in the applicable model family. Follow the equipment’s own rating label and controls for model-specific requirements.
Key Features
- Mega-top preparation area: Holds up to 24 pans for ingredient organization at the work area.
- Refrigerated base: The listed storage volume is 17.2 cu. ft., with two doors providing access to the cabinet.
- Digital control: A digital display lets the operator check the cabinet temperature; the manual instructs users to wait until the desired operating temperature is reached before loading food.

Installation & Requirements
Position the cabinet on a flat surface and level it by adjusting the leveling legs. The manual says to lift the cabinet from the exterior of its base and not to move it by applying pressure to its surface. Remove the protective PVC film and packing materials after unpacking. If the unit has been positioned horizontally and has an integral condensing unit, the manual says to wait two hours before switching it on.
Do not install the cabinet in an explosive environment, outdoors or where it is exposed to rain. Keep it away from direct heat sources, radiators, direct lighting, sunlight and draughts. Air must circulate freely around the condensing unit, whether integral or remote; the manual does not specify a clearance measurement.
For the electrical connection, check that the supply matches the requirements on the equipment’s factory label and that it has full-safety protection or an automatic circuit breaker. The source manual does not state a model-specific voltage, amperage, plug type or gas connection for the MSF8307. The troubleshooting instructions also identify a correctly inserted plug and an undamaged supply cord as basic checks if the cabinet does not operate.
Operation
Connect the power and adjust the thermostat. Before loading, allow the cabinet to reach the desired operating temperature shown on the digital display. The manual advises against placing uncovered hot food or liquids inside. Package or protect foods when possible, and do not obstruct interior air circulation with unnecessary items.
Limit frequent or prolonged door or drawer openings. After closing a door or drawer, wait a few moments before reopening it. The manual also describes automatic defrost: the timer initiates defrost four times in a 24-hour period and resets to the time of the initial start-up.
Cleaning & Maintenance
Routine cleaning
For hygiene and performance, clean the interior basin at least once a week. Switch off the power supply before cleaning. For walls and internal parts, the manual recommends an antibacterial detergent. Clean plastic parts with a damp cloth and dry them with a soft, clean cloth. Use little or no water, and do not use harsh or abrasive solvents or detergents. Wear protective gloves and avoid bare-handed contact with parts that could cut, including the evaporator and condenser.
Condenser cleaning
The manual calls for condenser cleaning at least once a month to support performance. Before starting, turn off the equipment and disconnect the plug. Unscrew, rotate and remove the protective grill. Remove dust from the front surface of the condenser with a brush and vacuum cleaner, then restore the grill and other parts to their previous positions.
Periods of inactivity
When the cabinet will be inactive, remove the food, unplug the equipment and clean it as described for routine cleaning. Cover the cabinet with a cloth that allows air to circulate inside.
Troubleshooting
The cabinet does not operate
- Check that the plug is correctly inserted into the socket.
- Check that the supply cord is not damaged.
The cabinet does not reach the required temperature
- Check that the control switch is turned on and the thermostat is set correctly.
- Check whether the cabinet is in a defrosting or post-defrosting phase.
- Check that the evaporator is not covered with frost and that dust has not blocked the condenser.
- Check that the cabinet is not near a heat source and that airflow to the condensing unit is unobstructed.
Applications
The MSF8307 is intended for refrigerated ingredient storage and preparation in sandwich, salad and deli service. The manual identifies salad refrigeration, preparation and sale—including salads, fruits, vegetables and cold dishes—as possible uses for the covered equipment family. Its mega-top pan area can keep ingredients organized for service, while the refrigerated cabinet provides storage below the work area.
